DAIQUIRI
DE NARANJA
INGREDIENTES: 15 ML. DE JUGO DE LIMÓN, 30
ML. DE JUGO DE NARANJA, 45 ML. DE RON BLANCO, 01 CUCHARADA DE AZÚCAR,
HIELO.
Gracias a

DAIQUIRI: The cocktail became popular in Santiago de Cuba and
from there moved to Havana in the mind of Emilio Gonzalez, the great and
popular Maragato, bartender of Spanish origin who worked at the Plaza hotel.
This one popularized in Havana and in turn gives it to meet his friend
Constantine Ribalaigua (Constance), then owner of Floridita. He gets excited
and begins to transform the cocktail creating various combinations until you
finally get the Daiquiri Frappé. My personal opinion is that Constantine worked
on a concida recipe but actually created a new cocktail, then changed the
proportions of the ingredients, how to work it and serve it, and added the
maraschino and replaced the criollo lemon lime, but change the name remained
intact daiquiri. This drink would get fame a few years later, in 1909, when
Admiral Lucius W. Johnson, who had tasted the drink in Cuba, led the Club of
the Army and the Navy in Washington. A few years later this combination was
prepared in the Plaza Hotel in the city of Havana by the Spanish bartender
Emilio Gonzalez, who returned their original daiquiri name. It is said that
there are more than 20 kinds of cocktails Daiquiri worldwide. The famous
American writer Ernest Hemingway Daiquiri cocktail mentions in one of his
novels, where he says he was a regular at the bar called La Floridita, which
opened in 1817 under the name of La Piña de Plata, where wet your letters with
this colorful cocktail. Thanks to Hemingway, this combination became even more

Daiquiri:
